Your naughty gifts:
Vidu x Wolf (safe)
Random pirates with sea wenches. (NOT SAFE FOR WORK)

Too many requests of ViduxWolf for me to not cave in.

Down to business...

This is the last page of chapter 2.

Chapter 2 begins and ends with Vidu posed protectively around Skittlez. Not a coincidence.

From nearly the first instant Anya saw Skittlez, he saw Vidu's mark on her... I'm playing with the idea of going back and adding something about it when Skittlez first runs in to Anya, but it seems like ... more complex than it's worth, and chapter 2 is already too complex. I'm worried about putting too much in at once.

I would add it on page 34. Here's a rough drawing of the edit. (adding the three panels at the bottom where Anya looks down at Skittlez, then looks again, then we see what he sees which is the mark incircling her.)

And the current 34, for reference.

They both lead to page 35 where Anya finally wraps his arms around Skittlez.

The other thing to struggle with is drawing Vidu on 34 as a man or as a bird, because at that point in the story, you don't yet know he is a bird. You'd be like "wuh the fuh is this bird?" and then chapter 2 unfolds, Vidu is a type of mystical bird, Anya is a secret omnicient creepy stalker...

Or draw Vidu as a man on 34, you get that he is sort of a magical imprint on Skittlez that Anya sees, but you don't know what Anya thinks of seeing it ...

Or just leave everything as it is. Anya is some funky nurse on the street, there's this random thing with a wolf, oh now Anya is a creepy omnicient stalker.

All in 48 incredibly confusing pages.

What do you think?

This is kind of a fun part of the creative process... <3

... this whole plot. WHO CARES IF IT DOESN'T MAKE SENSE?! You're fine, Blix, don't stress it! I'm sure everything will work out in time, and in the mean time we'll just enjoy the mystery.
I love Anya, he's so chilled.

Ha. I love Angelique's Expression. He's like "Feminine needs what?"

I love that Vidu is sorta-kinda there in the first panel. Beautiful composition and colouring there, it really gives the warm, protected feeling.

I actually think it'd be cool for you to put in some tiny reference to Anya recognising something Vidu-ish about Skittles before the wolf-bird-fish sidestory (understory?) cuts in - it might jar a little less then! Up to you of course, as redrawing more pages would be a royal pain in the butt. *Winces*...

Still and all, this is lovely!! The dark-Anya-to-light-Anya really helps the storyline make sense as well.

Love the Vidu/Skittlez shot! Also love the combo of Vidu in human form but with wings.

Yay for your Kickstarter! I see you've gone over $2000 now. Hope you'll reach even higher before the end of the year.

If you were going to redo it, I'd say that the bird version is cooler because then it unfolds and has meaning with the story. I think that seems cooler like "Oh,. I get it now!" for new readers.

I like the new page 34. The added sequence smooths things out a lot for me.

As is, the sudden mythical digression and revelation that Anya is more than just a regular guy seem to come from out of the blue. Hinting at the weirdness to come by inserting Anya's vision would be just the right amount of preparation to make those things more interesting than confusing.

The bird imprint works best because it sets the stage for the real bird's appearance, unifying what seemed to be two separate stories.

So to me the new page 34 would be a little tweak that goes a long way.

That first panel is amazing. That would be an amazing print.

Lovely page!
And about page 34... I wouldn't change it. Why? I think without knowing about the 'bird vision', Anya is as naive as he is and just helps Skittlez :3 I think that seems a lot sweeter then helping her because he saw 'odd' visions. The story gets clear in the end after al.
Do I sound weird now? ...Oh well... Still supporting your comic ofcourse! :D

I kind of agree with bubblefox. I'd leave it as it is. Though I like the concept of the imprint, I'd rather see it as some kind of actual physical marking on Skittlez. Why? Because there's always the possibility that someone who isn't always able to see spirits and imprints would be less inclined to help someone should something like that suddenly appear around them.

I say change it (Page 34) to include Bird-Vidu. It seems like a long time to us because we have to wait a week/weeks between pages. However, when reading the comic in finished book-form, it will read very fast and readers will be able to make the connection.

Awesome so far. Keep up the awesome story and art!

I enjoy the second option with Anya's seeing the imprint of Vidu (as a man) on page 34. It leaves a lot to speculation, but it also helps tie in the story of the Wolf a bit better.

Either route you take: wonderful story!

Oh my. Just. Oh.

Wolf x Vidu is amazing and I'm kind of sad I didn't think about it...

Your lines are beautiful, really. Someday I hope I'll be able to make everything I draw look so graceful.

I don't see the stalker bit at all. But do what you think is best because it'll turn out awesome anyway!
